Griffin Lauds ‘Men and Women Who Volunteer to Serve Our Country in Extraordinary Ways’

LITTLE ROCK – Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) issued the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:

“On Veterans Day, Americans make a point of expressing our gratitude to the men and women who volunteer to serve our country in extraordinary ways.  While the sacrifices made by servicemembers and their families are sometimes well known, many times they are not.  As a member of the Armed Forces, I join with all Americans in honoring and thanking every soldier for their bravery, service and commitment to ensuring America remains the land of the free.”

Rep. Griffin is currently serving his 17th year as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.

On Thursday, Rep. Griffin spoke at the UCA Veterans Day Celebration. He will also speak at several other Veterans Day events this weekend:
