Griffin Announces the ‘Second Pitcher’ of the ‘Sweet Tea with Tim’ Listening Tour

LITTLE ROCK – Congressman Tim Griffin (AR-02) announced the launch of another “Sweet Tea with Tim” listening tour, calling it the “Second Pitcher:”

“Last month’s ‘Sweet Tea with Tim’ listening tour was a huge success.  I was able to hear from constituents from all over the Second Congressional District.  Many people said they enjoyed this format more than traditional town halls because they were able to speak with me one-on-one.  Because of that success, we’re launching our ‘Second Pitcher’ tour so that folks who may not have been able to make it before can still have a glass of sweet (or unsweetened) tea and discuss issues important to them.”

Throughout the month of September, Rep. Tim Griffin hosted nearly a dozen “Sweet Tea with Tim” listening tour events, visiting every county in the Second Congressional District.  Just like the first tour, the Second Pitcher will allow Arkansans to share their thoughts directly with him and learn more about his work in Congress.  These events are free and open to the public.
